Huzhou Zhonghang Roll Co., Ltd. is a professional manufacturer of metallurgical rolls. The predecessor of the company was Cangnan County Roll Factory in Zhejiang Province, founded in 1992, and obtained the first batch of roll production licenses issued by the former Ministry of Metallurgy in 1996. It is one of the earliest enterprises in China to produce metallurgical rolls.
In 2001, it moved to Hangzhou and was renamed as Huzhou Zhonghang Roll Co., Ltd. In 2015, to cooperate with the implementation of the Hangzhou Canal Comprehensive Protection Project, it moved to Leidian Industrial Zone in Deqing County and was renamed as Huzhou Zhonghang Roll Co., Ltd. The company is located in the Hangjiahu Plain, covering an area of 36500 square meters. It is situated across the river from the millennium old town of Tangqi, 900 meters away from the Leidian exit of the Shenjiahu Expressway, 300 meters away from Provincial Highway 304, and 25 kilometers away from the downtown area of Hangzhou. The transportation is very convenient.
With more than 30 years of steady development, the strength of the enterprise is constantly enhanced, with a good production guaranteed capacity and product testing facility. It has more than 100 sets of advanced equipment, such as Smelting Furnaces, Centrifuges, Heat Treatment Furnaces, CNC Machining and so on. The company is equipped with “OBLF” Direct-Reading Spectrum Analyzer, which is imported from Germany, and other testing machines for Hardness, Tensile Strength, Metallurgical Structure, Ultrasonic Flaw Detection. It also has high standard Environmental Protection Facilities. The annual production capacity of rollers and rings are more than 15,000 tons.
The company adheres to the core concept of "undertaking, exploring, and surpassing", and has gathered more than 30 well-known domestic roller technology experts and senior and intermediate engineering technology experts. It has a municipal research and development center and has formed technical partnerships with relevant research institutes such as Zhejiang University, the School of Materials Science and Engineering of Peking University of Science and Technology, and the General Institute of Iron and Steel Research, continuously promoting enterprise technological innovation and improvement.
