Technical personnel

R&D Expert Team

Zhonghang Company brings together over 30 domestic experts in roll technology as well as senior and intermediate-level engineering specialists. It operates a municipal-level R&D center and maintains technical partnerships with institutions such as Zhejiang University, the School of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Science and Technology Beijing (USTB), and the Central Iron and Steel Research Institute (CISRI), continuously driving the company's technological innovation and improvements.

New process based on independent innovation

There are four independently developed innovative processes:

Pioneered a new wet-lining process for 3-ton medium-frequency electric
By employing independently developed innovative processes, the strength of the centrifugal roll core has reached an advanced level within China.
Pioneered a new rapid casting process for standard rolling mill rolls.
Pioneered a new rapid-casting process for centrifugal rolls.

Independently Developed New Materials

Over the years, Zhonghang’s numerous independent innovations have significantly enhanced the technical sophistication and capabilities of its rolls, while also yielding substantial economic and social benefits. The company has successfully developed new roll materials, specifically:

Specialized centrifugal rolls for the finishing stands of wire rod mills (standard wire rod)
Centrifugal rolls for the intermediate rolling stand of a bar/wire rod mill

Quality Assurance for New Products

By operating its own steel mill, the company establishes trial periods for new products and conducts evaluations to ensure optimal performance in actual applications.
